Mika Arai was not the fastest reader in her class. However, she was very good at noticing small problems.

One day, she saw three students walk past the library because they had only five minutes before club practice. Mika asked the librarian if she could use an old book cart.

The next week, Mika pushed the cart through the hallway after lunch. She chose short books, magazines, and easy science articles. Students could borrow a book in less than one minute.

The cart became popular because it was simple. Mika did not make speeches. She only said, “Take one if it looks interesting.”

By the end of the term, the library had thirty new student visitors. Mika said the cart was not special. “It just had wheels,” she said. “Sometimes that is enough.”
