Starting today, a small hallway robot will help students walk safely between classes.

The robot is friendly, but it takes its job very seriously. If you run in the hallway, it will move in front of you, raise one hand, and say, "Please enjoy walking."

Do not argue with the robot. Last week, one student said, "I am not running. I am fast walking." The robot followed him for three minutes and clapped slowly.

Please do not decorate the robot with stickers, ribbons, or tiny sunglasses. It already thinks it is popular.

If the robot blocks the way, say, "Thank you," and walk around it slowly.

If the robot asks for a high five, you may give one high five. Do not start a line. This caused a traffic jam yesterday.
