Question: Do study snacks follow normal gravity, or are they attracted to homework?

To test this, we placed a cookie, a potato chip, and a pencil on a ruler between two books. Then we watched which item moved first.

The pencil stayed calm. The cookie moved slightly toward the math worksheet. The potato chip fell directly onto the cleanest page.

We repeated the test three times. Each time, the snack moved closer to the paper with the most important notes.

Our conclusion is simple: snacks may not understand science, but they understand timing. They fall when students say, "I will keep this page clean."

One student suggested that snacks are attracted to stress. Another student suggested that the table was not flat. We ignored that idea because it was too reasonable.

Further research is needed, especially with chocolate.
