Stationery Shop Opens Emergency Eraser Desk
A tiny desk helps students who make very small mistakes.
A stationery shop in Minami Town has opened a new service called the Emergency Eraser Desk.
The desk is very small. It has one chair, three erasers, and a serious bell.
Students can use the desk when they make a mistake in a notebook or on a worksheet.
"Small mistakes can feel big before a test," the shop owner said. "We wanted to help."
The service is free for one minute. After that, students must buy at least one pencil.
Many students like the idea. One student said, "I erased one wrong answer and also erased my stress."
There is one rule. Students cannot erase promises, homework deadlines, or messages from teachers.
The shop owner says the desk is already popular. She may add an Emergency Ruler Corner next month.
